INTRODUCING IWD
Each year the Womens Group within the Club supports International Womens Day. This year that is officially March 8th…However we will celebrate on Sunday March 6th, when we believe we can attract more women who cycle or are interested to ride more.

We will be holding a number of rides from the corners of the city and beyond, inviting other cycling clubs to join us, publicising the event to women who don’t yet ride with a social group to try us, and encouraging women who don’t yet ride to start with us.
The aims of the day are to –
-
-
- Meet and mark International Women Day in a central location in the city.
- Share our love of cycling and our clubs
- Welcome and talk to visitors about the benefits cycling brings .
-

The event is sponsored by the ‘Big Bike Revival’ and registered with the International Womens Day website.
