In these extraordinary times with both the Covid Restrictions and the HS2 works it is a challenging to be assured that your chosen route is workable. This page gives advice on what we know as the currently open cafes for Takeaways, and a link to where you can check to likely state of roadworks due to HS2.

100 MILES IN A WEEK CHALLENGE

We are planning a 100-mile Cycle Challenge for ‘Bike Week’ (Sunday 30th May to Saturday 5th June) to replace the Centenary 100-mile ride on the 6th June which has had to be postponed.

Peter Seaman is organising the challenge for us and the simple plan is for individuals, or Covid compliant groups, to cycle 100-miles during Bike Week. This could be commuting to work during the week, any number of daily exercise rides or even 20 laps of Draycote Water. You can commit to doing your 100-miles over any period from one day to spreading them over the whole week.

The only constraint is that riders should comply with any Covid restrictions in place at the time.

Nearer the time we will send out details about registration for the event and how to record your daily mileages.
