A 6m high Lady Godiva puppet, the West Midlands 2012 Cultural Olympiad offering, left Coventry on its seven-day journey to London on 29 July as part of the build up to the 2012 Olympics. It was powered by relays of cyclists from the West midlands – 25 at a time. The journey to London was accompanied by a dancing troupe who performed at many of the stops along the way.
