Bike Week ‘100mile-in-a-Week’ Challenge

This event was successfully run and the results can be found here –http://coventryctc.org.uk/2021-bike-week-results

For ‘BIKE WEEK’ from Sunday 30th May to Sunday 6th June we are planning a 100-mile accumulation cycle challenge for all club members.

(This is an additional activity included in our Centenary celebrations and notably the amended Centenary 100-mile ride on the 6th June which, has been amended to be an informal ride, can now be included as part of the miles you ‘accumulate’ for this Challenge.)

The simple plan is for individuals, either individually or as part of Covid compliant groups, to cycle a total of at least 100 miles over the course of the week.

This could be commuting to work during the week, any number of daily exercise rides, or even 20 laps of Draycote Water! A combination of rides to ‘accumulate’ the 100 mile total is allowed. At the other end of the spectrum the fitter members of the club could choose to complete the ride in one day such as taking part in the aforementioned Centernary 100-mile ride on the 6th June.

The only constraint is that riders should comply with any Covid restrictions in place at the time.

There will be a spread sheet available for Registered Riders to record their daily ride distances.
