| APRIL 2024 19th to 29th | MALLORCA 2024 On Road Single Centre (+ Additional Activities) Leader - Mike Thomas " | Prospectus being written Open for general expressions of interest | Following the success of two holidays to Mallorca we are running a third trip from 19th to 29th April 2024 based in Port Pollensa. This provides the perfect location for cycling, with a variety of terrain including the challenging Tramantana mountains. Members will make their own bookings based on a Jet2 package which is very flexible with Birmingham flights. We will offer easier 50-70km and harder 80-120km rides each day. We also plan to arrange transport to take us with our bikes to locations to enjoy a linear ride back. In addition to the cycling there will also be Walking options from the hotel and these usually have an opportunity to swim and bird watching. We also plan to offer an option for a day’s sailing which was very popular last year. For those who don't want to cycle there are endless sightseeing options in Mallorca which can generally be reached using the excellent public bus services The holiday offers much more than cycling and eating. | JUNE 2024 7th to 10th | WOMEN'S TOUR TO RUTLAND On Road Moving On | Tour open for Bookings | WT24 will be the 5th CTC Coventry Women Only Tour. This time we are planning a 4 days 3 nights moving on tour Coventry - Market Harborough - Rutland Water - Leicester - Coventry. Setting off on Saturday morning for the first day’s ride to Bethune on Sat 13th for the next night stay. The aim is to get to Albert on the Somme some 98 miles from Calais over two days. The tour has been planned round the use of trains at the start and finish of the tour.
