TRAVELLING TO THE START

The start is from  The City Arms, 1 Earlsdon St, Earlsdon, CV5 6EP

BY RAIL:

Coventry Railway Station is  1.3 miles east north-east of the start.

BY CAR:

The nearest parking is Coventry War Memorial Park, just off Kenilworth Road. The entrance to the main car park is opposite Beechwood Ave. Parking costs £5 all day. You may be able to park on local roads.

 

THE EVENT:

Check-in at the start

 Please meetup at the the City Arms front garden or inside of the pub, depending on the weather.

Check-in opens: 0810 hrs.

Groups leave: 0830 – 0930 hrs

Please also Check-out at the finish: At the City Arms. It is important to check-out at the end of the event so we can ensure that everyone has finished safely.

ORGANISING INTO GROUPS

Each group of ten riders will have its own leader and a back marker. Route maps will not be necessary, although it is always sensible to carry a navigational device or a paper map if you prefer, and a fully charged mobile phone when riding in unfamiliar areas.

THE ROUTE

The route is a circular route using some of our favourite lanes in the area.

There will be an assistance vehicle available throughout the event to deal with any incidents that cannot be handled beside the road.

CATERING:

Catering is included as part of your Entry Fee.

There will be a Brunch after approx 17 miles at Charlecote Village Hall miles comprising:

A choice of bacon or sausage rolls (vegetarian option available)

Copious quantities of tea, coffee and squash

Biscuits

 

There will be a Afternoon Tea  after approx 40 miles at Aston Cantlow Village Hall consisting of:

 A selection of homemade cakes

Tea, coffee and soft drinks,

 

COSTS:

The entry fee is £30, which covers all refreshments during the ride, the hire of village halls and all other incidental expenses.

To ride the event, it is essential to complete an entry form
