NEW RIDER ? – We offer a range of regular day rides for those riders who wish to ride with a group and are confident of being able to cycle at least 15 miles at a reasonable pace. If you are new to cycling and maybe can’t yet do 15 miles then we suggest you might like to go to this page for some New Rider advice to get you ready to join us.

CLUB RIDES – Obviously with the new lockdown rules Group rides are not possible so our rides programme is suspended until further notice.  See the Club Bulletin for details

Sunday Rides

Rides meet at the Coventry Memorial Park by the Park & Ride facility (SP 324 774). at between 9 and 9.30 am. We normally offer three rides

  • a short 30-mile (approx) ride half-day averaging 10mph
  • an intermediate ride covering 40-50 miles
  • a longer ride of 60-80 miles lasting all day averaging 13mph

For anyone wanting a faster but shorter ride there is the option to join the longer ride and return home after the coffee break – there are normally a few people riding just to coffee so you are sure of some company on the return journey.
